Letter #27 — The Friendliest Person You Knew For Only One Day

“A stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet.”

06.11.12

Hello,

I don’t know if you remember me or not. To be honest, I don’t remember exactly where I met you. I know it was at an Appleseed… One of the 9 consecutive events I was instructing at last spring/summer. To some extent, they ended up blending together. I do remember that you were at one of the six back east. The first morning of that Appleseed, you came up to me and said something along the lines of “I was hoping you would be here. I’ve seen pictures of you on the Appleseed forum and I just love your smile.” That brightened my morning quite quickly. I hope I was able to meet the expectations that you had from what you read and saw.

Thank you.
An Appleseed Instructor

Well, that stranger was absolutely correct. The LORD has indeed blessed you with a lovely smile, one that lights up the room (or in this case, the range)!
