Letter #21 — Someone You Judged By The First Impression

06.05.12

I’m sure you already knew this, but when we first met you, we all thought you were going to be very different from who you are. It started with appearance, which, to some extent didn’t match. I stereotyped you as someone that might need to be watched, especially at the event that we were at. I was wrong and you proved that within two days. You basically were the opposite of what any of us expected. Over the next few months, you became a friend and someone that we view as family. When we were going through a tough time, you were there to walk us through it as you had gone through something very similar, just on the other side… You are someone that makes us smile and laugh, but we can also cry on your shoulder. Thank you so much for being there when it seemed like nobody else was, or nobody else could understand.

With undying gratitude,
A Friend That You Helped
