Letter #10 — Someone You Don’t Talk To As Much As You’d Like To

“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” – Deuteronomy 31:8

05.25.12

Dear friend,

I dare say we hit it off from the beginning, the day a friend introduced us to each other. Over the next several months, we got together, you hosted a Bible study at your house and invited me to join it, you encouraged me, and you mentored me in many ways. You became like an older sister and I found that you are definitely someone I can look up to. I had the privilege of watching you as you went through courtship, engagement, and I was blessed to be able to be there the day you got married. Life took us on, to some extant, different paths after that with your move and new life. Emails have been exchanged and once in a while we still run into each other. I really enjoy those times. I miss being able to see you at least once a week, but I rejoice in your dreams coming true.
This all reminds me, I should email you soon. 🙂

With love,
Someone who is blessed with your friendship
